浓度

浓度 are available to all declared associate degree students as an option in the Landmark College curriculum.

A concentration is required to earn an associate degree 通识教育, but is not required for any of the other associate degrees offered.

A concentration focuses on an area of interest that a student wishes to explore. A concentration could include pre-requisite course work that articulates with a Landmark College bachelor’s degree. A completed concentration is noted on a student’s degree transcript and serves as further demonstration of a student’s intellectual persistence and dedication to a particular academic discipline.

A concentration requires 15 – 16 credits of courses at the 1000 or 2000 level from a specific discipline as indicated in the concentration listing. Students must earn an average of “C” or better in the cumulative courses applicable to the concentration. Students may apply transfer credits towards the achievement of a concentration.


Landmark College Associate Degree 浓度

  • A 专注于商业 provides students with a broad foundation in basic business concepts. 对 A.A. 商业研究 或者是 B.A. 在沟通和企业领导 may choose concentration courses that contribute to the foundations for those programs.

    A 专注于商业 requires 15 total credits in ACC, 公共汽车, ECN, 鳍, 本, MKT, 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 职业能力集中 provides the opportunity for students to explore career interests by building on career readiness experiences that are enhanced by course offerings. Students will receive an initial assessment of individual career readiness, and then will work with their academic advisor/career mentor to develop an academic plan and career goals. Course choices allow for further development in understanding the cultural, 社会, and professional demands called upon when exploring careers.

    A 职业能力集中 requires 15 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 传播学专业 provides students with a broad foundation in either communication or journalism concepts. 对 B.A. 在沟通和企业领导 may choose concentration courses that contribute to the foundation f或者是 B.A.

    A 传播学专业 requires 15 total credits in COM, JRN, MKT, GAM, FLM, 越南河粉, 的, 从视频, 公共汽车, 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 计算机科学专业 provides students with a broad foundation in computer science. Students with an interest in computer science related field may find this concentration useful to then move toward other interests related to computer science.

    A 计算机科学专业 requires 15 total credits in CSC 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 教育专业 provides students with a broad foundation in educational development theory and educational psychology. 对 B.A. 在心理学中 may want to choose this concentration as a way to focus on student development.

    A 教育专业 requires 15 total credits in EDU 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 人文学科专业 provides students with a broad foundation to develop understanding into the impact of culture on values, 假设, 和世界观.

    A 人文学科专业 requires 15 total credits in HIS, 嗡嗡声, 点燃, φ, REL, 艺术研讨会, 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 综合艺术专业 provides students with a broad foundation in the study of the arts and the opportunity to focus on a specific studio art medium. Students may choose courses f或者是 concentration that contribute to the foundation of the B.A. 综合艺术.

    A 综合艺术专业 requires 15 total credits in ART, CER, CRW, DRW, FLM, 亩, PNT, 越南河粉, 的, 从视频, 或相关的嗡嗡声, COM, 及WRT课程, 或同等课程 . Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 心理学专业 provides students with a broad foundation in human development theory and  psychology. 对 B.A. 在心理学中 may want to choose this concentration to earn an associate degree that will put them on track to complete the B.A. 如果感兴趣.

    A 心理学专业 requires 15 total credits in PSY 或同等课程. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits.  Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.

  • A 理科专业 provides students with a broad foundation to apply knowledge about the natural world to analyze real-world problems and issues.

    A 理科专业 requires 16 total credits in BIO, 切, 生态, ENV, 地理, HTH, 国家安全委员会, 或同等课程. At least one lab science course must be taken and applied to the concentration. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 16 credits. Students may apply transfer credits toward the achievement of a concentration.
